• Robert Harris VMD

  
  

  Dr. Robert Harris was born and raised in Woodbury, NJ.  He started his career in veterinary medicine as a technician assistant when he was a high school junior.  He attended the University of Delaware for undergraduate studies and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1977.  For a number of years, Dr. Harris worked as a staff veterinarian in a large group practice.  In 1987, he purchased a house, totally renovated it into a veterinary hospital and opened Pitman Animal Hospital.   In 2004, he opened the hospital you see pictured.  Built on the same property as the original practice, Dr. Harris designed, contracted and worked side by side with builders to complete our new facility.  His major area of interest is surgery, both orthopedics and general surgery.

• Dana Danette Fite VMD

  
  

  Orignally from Western Pennsylvania, Dr. Fite attended Penn State for her bachelor's degree in Animal Bioscience, then spent six years in the Pittsburgh area as a medical research assistant before moving to Philadelphia to attend the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School.  She lives in Philadelphia with her husband and 2 young sons, dog, and 3 cats.  Her professional interests are in internal medicine and behavioral medicine.  She enjoys music, gardening,  being a mom, and hopes to someday resume her horseback riding hobby.

• Melissa Berg VMD

  
  

  Melissa graduated from Penn Veterinary School. After working for a number of years in emergency and corporate practices, she took over her father's small animal practice in Glassboro, NJ.  After having her first child, she decided to merge her practice with Pitman Animal Hospital, becomming an associate in February, 2006.  Her areas of interest are orthopedics, general surgery and emergencies.

• Melissa Case-Miller , DVM

  
  Melissa grew up in New Jersey, but attended veterinary school in Canada. 
  Her professional interests include exotics and pocket pets.
  She lives at home with her husband, daughter, and dogs.

• Sabra Olsen , DVM

  
  Sabra originates from and graduated veterinary school in Oklahoma.  After receiving her degree, she spent 4 years in New Mexico in a mixed animal practice, and then moved to Texas where she spent an additional 2 years. 

  She has recently relocated to South Jersey, and lives at home with her husband Brian, border collie Molly, and several cats.

• Joshua Erde , VMD

  
  Josh grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ.  In 1996, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania.  He spent the last 8 years working in Emergency practice in the Pittsburgh area, and has just recently relocated back to  South Jersey.  His professional interests include emergency medicine, opthomology, and surgery.  He lives with his wife, dog, and 4 cats, and enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, and playing music on his guitar.

• Judy

  
  

  Judy's history with Dr. Harris stems back to her working with him at a previous animal hospital.  She has been both an asset and a loyal employee here since 1986 when she started as a receptionist.  Judy has climbed the ladder  with her first promotion in 1995 when Dr. Harris gave her the position of Administrative Assistant.  Throughout the years she has contributed greatly to the success of Pitman Animal Hospital and has further moved up to the positions of Supervising Receptionist along with Front office administrator.  These positions require her to keep the paperwork orderly and the office running smoothly, which she does very well.

• Maggie

  
  

  Maggie came to Pitman Animal Hospital in 1987 and was hired for both the  pharmacy assistant and kennel attendant positions. She enjoyed her work so much that she decided to pursue a career as a Veterinary Technician.  Maggie went on to graduate from the Camden County Veterinary Technician program in 1992.  In 1996, seeing Maggie's potential and knowledge of her position, Dr. Harris promoted her to Supervising Veterinary Technician.

• Carol , Receptionist / Supervisor

  
  

  Carol was hired as a Receptionist in 2002.  A graduate of Harris School of Business, Carol has years of office experience working in a law firm, as an operator and Admin. Asst. for Western Union as well as a Client Service Rep. for Holman Enterprises.  A love of animals brought her to Pitman Animal Hospital and her experience in office management brought her to the current position as one of our Client Service Rep. Supervisors.
